MindMellow is a meditation, breathing and mood app. This policy says exactly what the app collects, where it goes, and how to remove it. It is written to match the privacy details shown on the App Store, and nothing here is promised that the app does not do.
Everything below is tied to your account. We collect nothing else.
Your account. Your name and email address, used to sign you in.
Your answers during setup. What you want from the app (for example better sleep or less anxiety), how experienced you are, how many minutes a day you have, and when you would like a reminder. These shape what the app suggests.
Mood check-ins. A daily rating from 1 to 5, optionally with the activities you tag and a short note. Your check-in changes the session the app recommends that day and, over time, shows you how your mood compares between days you practise and days you do not.
Journal entries. What you write in the journal.
Your practice. Which sessions and breathing exercises you complete, for how long, and your streak.
Subscription status. Whether you have MindMellow Premium.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or anything from your microphone. The app plays audio; it never records it. We do not collect device advertising identifiers, browsing or search history, or crash reports. There is no analytics software and no advertising software in the app.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone itself. We do not hold push notification tokens.
Google Firebase. Your account, setup answers, mood check-ins, journal entries and practice history are stored in Google Firebase, in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google. It is not end-to-end encrypted: like almost every cloud service, we could in principle read it, and we do not.
RevenueCat. To manage subscriptions, RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase history. It never receives your name, email, mood check-ins or journal.
Apple. Subscriptions are billed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
To run the app: signing you in, recommending a session, keeping your streak, showing your mood insights, and unlocking Premium. Nothing else. We do not use your journal or mood data to train anything, and no person reads it as part of operating the service.
We treat mood check-ins and journal entries as sensitive. They are used only to power the features you can see in the app, they are never shared with any clinician, employer, insurer or advertiser, and they are deleted with everything else when you delete your account.
MindMellow is a wellbeing app, not a medical service. Nothing in it is a diagnosis or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Open You, then Delete account. After you confirm your identity, the app immediately deletes your account, your setup answers, every mood check-in, every journal entry and your entire practice history, then removes your sign-in. This cannot be undone.
Two things happen separately. RevenueCat keeps your purchase history so Apple refunds and restores keep working; email us and we will ask RevenueCat to delete it. Copies in routine backups are removed within 30 days.
You can also email mindmellow11@gmail.com to request deletion, a copy of your data, or a correction.
MindMellow is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, it goes with it, subject to the 30-day backup window above.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top is the current version.
